THE BUDS

Making their debut at Hank’s, The Buds formed several years ago as a refuge from the members’ other gigging bands, gathering weekly in a living room to play the kinds of deep cuts and originals that musicians play for themselves while hanging with other musicians. Now they’ve decided it’s

time to bring the living room to you. Given their diverse backgrounds, you can expect anything from roots, to blues, to rockabilly, country and power pop. It’s all there.

The Buds are:

· Mark Stutso on drums, vocals (The Nighthawks, Mark Wenner’s Blues Warriors);

· Bruce Moyer on guitar, vocals (40 Dollar Fine, Pile O’ Rocks);

· Buddy Griffin on pedal steel and guitar, vocals (Cairo Fred, The McDuffees);

· Edward O’Connell on keyboards, vocals (BandHouse Gigs veteran, The McDuffees); and

· Matt Spielman on bass, vocals (BandHouse Gigs and Newmyer Flyer veteran, Flatbroke)
