Poor Ellen Smith is a seasoned Americana band bringing to you the songs and acoustic guitar sounds of vintage Bluegrass, Blues and Country in the style of Doc Watson, Norman Blake and others. The band has been active in the greater Washington area and played venues like the Takoma Park Festival, New Deal Cafe, Sandy Springs Museum, Beans in the Belfry, Potomac Overlook Regional Park, plus wineries like Barrel Oak in VA and others.
The members are Jeff Becker (bass), Chris Curro (percussion), Jim Salman (guitar), and Armin Hadamer (guitar, vocals).
