It was so much fun the first time, let’s do it again! Hosts Larry Joseloff and Nina Goodman are putting together another music jam for DMV musicians with out special guest emcee, the one and only Gordon Sterling! 

We were reminiscing about the pre-Covid jams of yore, with funky grooves and juicy licks a-plenty, and wanted to recreate and pay homage to that vibe. 

Backline will be provided (thanks to Gordon, Spencer, Matt, others) and all levels are encouraged to come! 

So how does this work? We will have different bucket categories for different instruments: drums, guitar, bass, keys, vocals, horns, and other (e.g., ukuleles, percussive instruments, anything that doesn’t fit into the other buckets). Our emcee will pick one name from each bucket and the group will get up and spontaneously play a song for about 5-8 minutes and see where things go! We will do our best to accommodate special requests (e.g., grouping people together, performing a specific song).
