DMV musicians and music fans, please join us in celebrating Doug Jay, one of DC's musical treasures, who departed the pattern last month. Doug was a true virtuoso, a master of blues harmonica who also extended the instrument well outside the parameters of that genre. In his later career, Doug broadened his skills into songwriting, composing and recording four discs of original compositions and obscure R&B chestnuts. Please stop by, hoist a beverage and play with or just enjoy the best area blues and roots musicians in recognize our fallen comrade.
