The Carter Farm Band What happens when you mix Eagles with Byrds, and Mavericks with Pretenders, and throw in some Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, Johnny Cash, John Fogerty and many others?  You get The Carter Farm Band.  We're local musicians who've been performing together for more than 10 years, playing what the late Gram Parsons of the Byrds and Flying Burrito Brothers famously called “Cosmic American Music” (now known as country-rock). We cover songs that you know, love and can sing along and dance to.  Or you can just sit back and listen to our signature three, four and even five-part harmonies.  Whatever you do, you’re sure to have a great time.

The Carter Farm Band is Gayle Alexander on vocals and hand percussion; Jim Lane on lead guitar and vocals; Jeff Long on rhythm guitar and mandocaster (and sometimes fiddle and trumpet) and vocals; Duane Siler on bass and vocals; and George Borababy on drums and vocals.
