Every first Wednesday of the month, Annette Wasilik curates and hosts this showcase of the area's finest singer/songwriters at Hank Dietle's Tavern in Rockville, which has literally risen from the ashes and it looks, sounds and feels fabulous! $10-$20 Suggested donation for the artists.

Ruthie and the Wranglers are a five-piece based in the Washington, DC area. After 25 years of twang (including recording, touring and Americana/Roots radio airplay) the band remains a cornerstone of the DC roots music scene. From original Americana Country to a rousing Surf instrumental or whisky drenched ballad, their clever lyrics, high energy and heavenly harmonies, set them apart from the rest. Sam C. Jones is an Americana-Rock N' Roll artist known for his clever lyrics, big guitar sound and haunting, heartfelt melodies. Rob Gould is an award-winning singer-songwriter who’s been entertaining local audiences with his folk-Americana originals for the last ten years. His new album, “Because of You”, is a Finalist for the 2023 Wammie award Album of The Year in the Country /Americana category. Two songs on the album have already won honorable mention awards in the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest.

Rob lives in Rockville with his wife, Kate and two kittens, Sam (Cook) Gould and Otis (Redding) Gould.
