Sound of the band is stripped down and primal, with no attempt at modernization or any kind of damn fool 'fusion'. FSC is the brainchild of vocalist & bandleader, Ron Scott, who had a long career in the Boston, MA music scene before migrating southward in 2007. The group is rounded out by some stellar players: Eric Hurtt on lead guitar, Donovan Stokes on upright bass, and Drake Sorey on drums. Four Star Combo, which made it's debut in December, 2007, has played extensively throughout the greater Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia area.
