Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and arranger Bill Williams has been active in the DC music scene since the mid-1980's. During that time, he has kept himself largely out of trouble by performing, recording and/or writing for such notable DC acts as Last Train Home, Jelly Roll Mortals, The Porch Delights, Kevin Johnson & the Linemen, the Tone Rangers, and the HalfSmokes, to name a few. He has been featured in several Bandhouse Gigs and Newmyer Flyer tribute shows (Byrds, Last Waltz, Lovin’ Spoonful, Woodstock 50, British Invasion, George Harrison, Nick Lowe, Linda Ronstadt, WHFS). As a solo artist, Bill blends his original songs with an eclectic mix of his favorites of decades present and past - he might pull anything from Roger Miller to Johnny Mercer, Buck Owens to XTC.
